Precision Filters Receives ISO 9001:2008 CertificationPress Release September 2011Precision Filters, Inc. (PFI) is proud to announce it is now a certified ISO 9001:2008 compliant organization. Specifically, Precision Filters is certified as meeting the ISO 9001:2008 requirements for the design, development and production of a family of Analog Transducer Conditioning Systems, Filtering/Amplifier Systems and Signal Switching Systems for the Acoustics, Aerospace, Power Generation, Shock & Vibration and Automotive markets. UL DQS Inc., an ANAB registrar located in Buffalo Grove, IL, accredits the certification. To achieve certification as ISO 9001:2008 compliant company, Precision Filters undertook a comprehensive review and enhancement of its quality management activities. These activities included the development and documentation of a quality management system, regular internal audits and management reviews and the elimination of all non-conformances through documented and verified corrective actions. A unique document management system, the ISO Electronic Document Control System (EDCS), design by Precision Filters enhances the processes of the quality management system. As a results of this undertaking, PFI receiving its ISO 9001:2008 certificate of registration on August 12, 2011. Certification to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard demonstrates that Precision Filters’ policies, practices and procedures ensure consistent quality throughout its family of products. “PF has a tradition of commitment to its customers.
