New Product Announcement:Compact Signal Conditioning SystemPress Release October, 2004Precision Filters announces the addition of the compact 28008D-M3 frame to the Precision 28000 transducer conditioning system product line.
The smaller form factor of the 28008D-M3 8-slot chassis makes it more suitable for lower channel count systems or systems where portability is important, according to Doug Firth, Marketing Manager at Precision Filters. Integral cooling and system temperature monitoring is provided. An audible alarm is sounded if the internal chassis temperature exceeds factory limits or a cooling fan operates out of spec. The chassis is equipped with test and monitor analog busses that allow the user to insert test signals to any conditioner input and monitor any conditioner output without disconnecting any signal cables. The 28008D-M3 chassis accommodates the expanding family of transducer conditioning cards available for the Precision 28000 system and is backward compatible with all Precision 27000 signal conditioning modules.
